Vaccination against Avian Metapneumovirus Infection

Vaccination is the backbone of Avian Metapneumovirus control.

Two types of vaccine are used:

• Live vaccines (attenuated viruses)
• Inactivated vaccines, usually formulated in an oil emulsion adjuvant
